Jewels spread over the Aegean

Between Naxos and Amorgos, several small islands with great history known as East Small Cyclades, are waiting to be discovered. Donoussa, Pano Koufonissi, Schinoussa, Iraklia, the only ones populated, are the most easily accessible thanks to the daily connections from Piraeus, Naxos and Amorgos.

The locals are friendly and hospitable and they are waiting to welcome you in their unique way. They will tell you stories from the past and they will show you ‘hidden’ beauties.

Small Cyclades have natural beauties that make them stand out among the rest of the Aegean islands. The numerous leeward beaches, where you can relax and swim in their crystal clear waters will fascinate you with their different shades of blue and turquoise. Paths that lead to mystic places; delicious local dishes and tasty natural products, leaving you craving seafood that one can enjoy by the sea or at villages on the inland, next to picturesque white houses and small churches.

Today, the ports and bays of Small Cyclades are known all over the Aegean as the best resorts for sailing boats and high-speed vessels, and it is no coincidence they have been the favourite hiding place of many a pirates.

This webpage wishes to become a full tourist guide to Donoussa, Koufonissia (Pano & Kato Koufonissi), Iraklia, Schinoussa and Keros (one of the most important centres of the ancient Cycladic culture). At this site you will be able to find information about everything you need to know in order to enjoy your stay in Small Cyclades to the max: connections to and from other islands, hotels & rooms, restaurants, tavernas & bars, beaches, etc. We also hope to give you the chance to communicate through this site with ‘lovers’ of Small Cyclades and people who have already visited or are planning on visiting them soon.

Welcome to the paradise of the Aegean!
Welcome to Small Cyclades!
